The Barrington Book is an optional, school-wide read-along designed to promote community through the shared experience of reading a good book. Participating families read the same book at home over the course of four weeks. 

 

The 2025 Barrington Book is Wild Robot by Peter Brown! Families also have an option to read 40-page short stories by Peter Brown each week, either in addition to or in place of, the main book. Those selections are:

• Your Friend Will Be My Friend

• Children Make Terrible Pets

• My Teacher is a Monster (No, I’m Not)

• Mr. Tiger Goes Wild

Sign-up here to be apart of the Barrington Book program. You can also make your book purchases in the sign-up form. Book purchases are being made directly with Storyline Bookshop, who has agreed to give 20% back to Barrington! Program registration and book orders are due no later than January 19th at midnight. All books will be delivered the last week of January and our program will kick off on February 2nd.
