Reading a Book

After School Enrichment

An optional program run by volunteers in close collaboration with the school, offering extra-curricular experiences to students that enhance learning, while raising funds for the PTO

BarJo Science Fair

An exciting event for students of Barrington Elementary School & Jones Middle School, welcoming all students grades K-8, and providing hands-on engagement with science

Barrington Book

A schoolwide optional read-along designed to promote community through the shared experience of reading a good book.  Participating families read the same story at home over the course of a few weeks.

Bobcat Social

An adult-only fundraiser taking place at an off-site venue and offering food, beverages, an auction and entertainment for guests.

Clown Around

Our historical fundraiser, taking place in conjunction with field day, filled with fun games & activities and made available to families with kids of all ages.

Making Tracks for Bobcats

A 1-mile fun walk around the track with music, photo op experience, frozen treats and special Barrington spirit wear items to commemorate the event and student participation.

Meals on Wheels

Monday-Friday deliveries year-round to provide food to neighbors in need during the lunch hour. 

Mini Fundraisers

Hosted approximately once per month, special dining or shopping events that raise funds for our school. 

Spelling Bee

Our school hosts two student-friendly spelling bees each January that families are invited to attend. One for students in grades 1-2 and one for students grades 3-5.
