After School Enrichment

An optional program run by volunteers in close collaboration with the school, offering extra-curricular experiences to students that enhance learning, while raising funds for the PTO

BarJo Science Fair

An exciting event for students of Barrington Elementary School & Jones Middle School, welcoming all students grades K-8, and providing hands-on engagement with science

Barrington Book

A schoolwide optional read-along designed to promote community through the shared experience of reading a good book.  Participating families read the same story at home over the course of a few weeks.

Bobcat Social

An adult-only fundraiser taking place at an off-site venue and offering food, beverages, an auction and entertainment for guests.

Making Track for Bobcats & Clown Around

A 1-mile fun walk around the track with music and frozen treats during the day, followed by our historic Clown Around fundraiser,  filled with fun games & activities after school

Spirit Wear

Show your Bobcat spirit all year long with Barrington Spirit Wear! Our Spirit Wear Committee offers special sales throughout the year, with fun Barrington gear for the whole family.

Meals on Wheels

Monday-Friday deliveries year-round to provide food to neighbors in need during the lunch hour. 

Mini Fundraisers

Hosted approximately once per month, special dining or shopping events that raise funds for our school. â€‹â€‹â€‹Look for announcements in the PTO emails and Principal newsletters. 

Spelling Bee

Our school hosts two student-friendly spelling bees each January that families are invited to attend. One for students in grades 1-2 and one for students grades 3-5.
