What is ASE?
Barrington PTO’s After School Enrichment (ASE) program offers students exciting learning opportunities that go beyond the classroom. Through hands-on, creative, and skill-building activities, ASE encourages students to build confidence, spark curiosity, and explore new interests in a fun and supportive environment while also helping raise funds that support all of the ways the PTO enriches the Barrington community.
ASE is an optional program for Barrington students in grades K–5. Classes are taught by community instructors and may take place at Barrington Elementary or at nearby local businesses.
The program offers a wide range of enrichment classes across many areas of interest, including art, STEM, wellness, chess, literacy, and foreign language. Courses vary in length, typically ranging from one week to twelve weeks, depending on the class.
Each course has limited enrollment determined by the instructor, so some classes may fill quickly.
