Each May, the Barrington PTO hosts Clown Around in conjunction with Field Day. Clown Around is after-school from 3-5pm and open to all Barrington families. This beloved event brings together students, families and staff for an afternoon filled with joy, laughter and community spirit.

• Fun Games & Activities: A variety of games and activities designed for kids of all ages.

• Cake Walk: A chance to win delicious baked goods in our popular cake walk.

• Food & Refreshments: Tasty treats and refreshments available throughout the event.

Support Our Students:​

Clown Around is Barrington PTO's main Spring Fundraiser. It raises money to support additional learning opportunities at Barrington including: guest speakers, field trips, external programming, and hands-on, authentic experiences for our students.

 

How You Can Get Involved:

• Fundraising: To keep Clown Around a FREE EVENT for all Barrington families, we encourage each student to raise $40 or more. Please note, any contribution is appreciated, and there is no required donation. We also have several sponsorship opportunities. All sponsorships must be submitted by May 1 to be included in event signage. Donate or Sponsor here.
   

• Volunteer Your Time: Our fundraisers thrive because of wonderful volunteers like you. Whether you can spare an hour or two, your help is invaluable. Volunteers can be parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, older siblings, or friends. Sign up here.
